The story of our coffee journey begins in the early 1970s, amidst the cold, frigid winters of Wyoming.

Matthew, a young boy at the time, often accompanied his father on winter hunting trips deep into the Rocky Mountains. There, the snow blanketed the ground, leaving no trace of grass in sight. Each morning, Matthew would awaken to the sweet aroma of fresh coffee brewing in a percolator over a piping hot campfire. For a moment, the warmth and fragrance of the coffee made him forget the biting cold and wetness of the wilderness. Coffee became his sanctuary, a comforting escape that allowed him to appreciate the breathtaking snowy landscape.

Matthew's passion for coffee was evident from a young age. 

In the 1990s, Matthew frequently visited his family in Washington, where they owned a charming coffee shop that featured a gentleman's study with humidor lockers for those who enjoyed both coffee and cigars. The cozy atmosphere, filled with the camaraderie of friends and engaging conversations about world-changing ideas, inspired Matthew and ignited a dream within him.

This dream, nurtured by the warmth of family, the beauty of nature, and the allure of coffee, would eventually lead to the creation of our beloved coffee brand.
